The path of a disease
An illness starts long before we recognize it as such.
Its cause is always in our past.
Why are we sick?
When we get a cold or a fever, it is a sign that our body needs a break, that it needs our attention. The best solution is to give ourselves this break to stop and look at what is going on in our lives, why we want to withdraw, what stress we can no longer bear.
As parents, we need to ask ourselves what is weighing on our children if a conflict at home or at school is overtaking them.
If, at that point, we identify the stress that is weakening our immune system and set out to find a solution, we will recover quickly.
But if we prefer to take a pill and suppress the signal, the symptom that our body is giving off, we may still be able to function, but it will not be a cure.
If the stress persists, the body will soon send us a new signal and the disease will slowly settle in the depths of our body. Atopic dermatitis turns into asthma, diarrhea into gallstones, a headache into depression. Zinc ointments, cortisone, antipyretics and neuroleptics suppress the symptoms, but do not bring healing and instead weaken our immune system. This sets the stage for deep, chronic, autoimmune and degenerative diseases.
In treatment, we look for the trigger, the cause of the disease, in order to retrace the journey and enable healing.
